An Xbox Live stat tracking service.

WatchBox is a service that tracks your Xbox Live gaming sessions and records how long you play each game. With WatchBox, you can view which games you have played, how long you played them, and compare these stats with your friends.

WatchBox is currently in an open beta and is only accepting limited registrations. The total amount of users is currently capped at 100 until performance and reliability can be gauranteed.

How does it work?

WatchBox uses a custom-written C# application that constantly monitors your Xbox 360 playing time and uploads this data to a MySQL DB. This app is generously being run by The0ldMan 24/7/365 so your stats will be as accurate as possible.

What kind of stats does it collect?

WatchBox will not only keep track of all games that you play (even XBLA games), but will also track many dashboard activities, such as "watching a movie" or "listening to music."

What are medals?

Medals, which are very similar to achievements, can be unlocked when you meet a certain criteria with your stats. For example, if you have played over 100 hours of a single game, you would unlock a medal. Medals are also broken up into levels. Level 1's and 2's are generally pretty easy to achieve, but to unlock a level 5, your playing requires serious dedication.

When do the stats get uploaded?

Your stats are uploaded when you either switch to a new game, sign off, or turn off your console. It may take a few minutes for the site to reflect the changes.
